Father God, thank you for this is the day that You have made and we shall be glad and rejoice in it. We ask for understanding as we read the Word today in the name of Jesus, Amen.
Today, we are looking at prayer. One of the most important things to know about prayer is that God always longs to hear what is on your heart. There is no small or big prayer because with God, every prayer request is important. Praying to God and asking for your healing from a cold or for a bigger house for you and your family is equally as important in God's eyes as praying to Him and asking for your Mom or Dad to buy you an ice cream.
In a way, prayer is like having a conversation with God. So God wants you to come with faith knowing that He has the power to grant your requests because He cares about you.
1 John 5:14-15 (NKJV)
"Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him."
Amen, thank you LORD.
Invitation to salvation: If you would like to have a personal relationship with God as your Father and His Son Jesus who died for our sins and receive eternal life - which means you get to be with God in heaven all your life, please say this prayer below:
"Thank you Father God for sending Jesus, Your One and Only Son to die for my sins. I receive Him today and forever as Lord and Saviour of my life in the name of Jesus, Amen."
