God loves you

Father God, thank you that this is the day that You have made and we shall be glad and rejoice in it . Thank you that even right now, you are giving us understanding as we read Your Word and pray together in Jesus' name, Amen.

Today's lead Word are Jesus' words found in Matthew 18:10-11 (NIrv)

"See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. Here is what I tell you. Their angels in heaven are always with my Father who is in heaven."

Amen, thank you LORD

How much does God love you? - The answer is Very much.

In this chapter above, we see Jesus telling the people that God has put an angel around each one of you and these angels are always before God's presence in heaven. This shows how much God cares for you and loves you.

Does God's love for you change because you did something wrong or made a mistake? - The answer is No.

Sometimes, we make mistakes and other times, we may be sad because what we expected for instance, getting a lower grade score for your test than you expected. While this may cause sadness, God wants you to know that He still loves you all the same because you mean a lot to Him and when you trust Him, He will give you the ability to do better next time.

Other times, we may do wrong and make mistakes in our behavior with others. When this happens, God encourages us to bring our mistakes to Him and ask for forgiveness.

In 1 John 1:9 NIrV "But God is faithful and fair. If we confess our sins, he will forgive our sins. He will forgive every wrong thing we have done. He will make us pure."

This Scripture shows that when you make a mistake and ask God for forgiveness, He will always forgive you because He loves you. When God forgives, He also forgets and does not remember your mistakes anymore. Jesus wants you to feel safe in God's love knowing that nothing can ever separate you from Him. So rejoice, have fun because God loves you and is not angry at you, Amen.

Let us say this prayer together: Father God, thank you that I am loved by you. That even when I make mistakes, You are still are willing to forgive me when I confess my sins to You. Thank you Jesus that nothing can separate me from Your love so I can move in confidence and joy knowing Your love is with me in everything I do and everywhere I go in the name of Jesus, amen.
