Joyful praying

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NirV

"16.Always be joyful.

17.Never stop praying.

18.Give thanks no matter what happens. God wants you to thank Him because you believe in Christ Jesus."

Amen, thank you LORD.

In today's devotional, God is saying to you and I that He loves it when we come to Him in prayer. So God tells you to never stop praying.

What is prayer? - Prayer is like a conversation where we tell God our needs and what is on our hearts as we trust Him to answer our prayers.

The most amazing part about prayer is you do not have to have to wait for a need or the right words, you can come to God anytime like the way you may talk with a friend. Sometimes, it could simply be telling God about your day and thanking Him for all that He has done for you.

Other times, you maybe praying for your family and friends. You do not need the perfect words or a perfect place to pray. For example, you may pray to God, on your way to school, before you eat food, before you write your exam you can quietly ask God for His help and thank Him after for providing you with help.

When you know that God as a Father has His presence is with you all the time, it makes praying joyful. Always remember you can pray and talk to God anywhere about anything because He is waiting to hear from you and answer your prayers.

Prayer: Father, I am joyful because You are always waiting to hear about my day. Thank you for the gift of joyful prayer. I know I can pray to you about anything and anywhere because You are with me everywhere I go. Thank you Father that You are always attentive to my prayers. Thank you Father for every good thing that You have done for me in the past and that You are also about to do for me, my family and community in the name of Jesus, Amen.
