Trust in the LORD

Updated: May 24

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIrV)

"5.Trust in the LORD with all your heart. Do not depend on your own understanding.

6.In all your ways obey Him. Then he will make your paths smooth and straight."

Amen, thank you LORD.

God is reminding us today to depend on Him. God is asking that you trust Him with all of your heart. When you trust God with all your heart, you will remember that all things are possible with God as seen in Matthew 19:26. Sometimes, bad things may happen, maybe a friend at school said something mean and yet you have always been kind to them. When something like this happens, come to God in prayer to Him. Remember God loves you. He cares about each and every need you may have on your heart and always wants to answer your prayers.

Even when you may not know why your friend did something mean to you, God says to you, do not depend on your own understanding but choose to put your trust in Him with all your heart and He promises to take care of everything concerning you.

Prayer: God, I put my trust in You and by Your grace, I will not lean on my own understanding. Help me to walk in obedience to You God in the name of Jesus. Thank you God that I can remember to show kindness to people I meet because You have been kind to me. Thank you Father for going ahead of me by making my paths smooth and straight, in Jesus' name, Amen.
